There Goes The Neighborhood

And when I say neighborhood, I mean the nation.

So Glamour magazine honored Butcher-in-chief, Cecile Richards for her outstanding efforts at defending her murder factory and Baby-parts-sales-shop.

For the nation/culture to glorify the evil deeds of this chop-shop speaks volumes about the free-fall of the people's morality.

"Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them." - Romans 1:32

But all hope is not lost. For although we have all sinned (Rom 3:23), there is forgiveness in repentance through Jesus. (Rom 3:24)

In a World Filled With Bad News

Here's some good news:

Texas Governor Greg Abbott made decision to eliminate state taxpayer funding for the abortion business.

In a statement sent to, he added: “The gruesome harvesting of baby body parts by Planned Parenthood will not be allowed in Texas and the barbaric practice must be brought to an end. As such, ending the Medicaid participation of Planned Parenthood affiliates in the State of Texas is another step in providing greater access to safe healthcare for women while protecting our most vulnerable – the unborn.”

While the abortion debate is thrown about like a political football, the reality of legal infanticide and human tissue harvesting is evil. I'm thankful that Texas has taken a stand against PP.

The loving Creator is bigger than all of our sin, and his Grace can forgive and redeem the worst of sins.

I John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Missed Opportunities

You can imagine my surprise last night, when my lovely wife said, "Do we get the channel that will broadcast the Republican debate?" Her interest in politics has been lukewarm at best, but she heard a segment from Glenn Beck that sparked some interest, so I set it up for us to watch.

It was disappointing, to say the least. The participants fell into the moderator's trap of yielding to infighting rather than substantive discussion. One good thing is that it exposed The Donald for the childish entertainer that he is.

But I have a huge complaint with two enormous missed opportunities to readjust the perspectives of the American people, who are largely confused about the role of their parents government.

  • Missed opportunity #1 - When the discussion about illegal immigration was being discussed, Donald Trump said, "A woman gets pregnant. She's nine months, she walks across the border, she has the baby in the United States, and we take care of the baby for 85 years. I don't think so." Either Ted Cruz or Rand Paul should have cut him off with a sharp rebuke. IT's NOT THE GOVERNMENT'S JOB TO CARE FOR ANYONE!!!!! On this Constitution Day, someone please read the Constitution. Here are the Federal Government's declared boundaries:
    • Congress
      • Create laws.
      • Impeach criminals from office.
      • Declare war.
      • Borrow money.
      • Propose a budget (common defense, post office, provide roads)
      • Coin money
      • Negotiate with foreign powers
    • Executive
      • Make sure laws are carried out
      • Command the military
      • Fill vacancies in the judiciary (recess congress openings)
    • Judicial
      • Interpret laws in accordance with the Constitution
Nowhere in the Constitution does it talk about giving free stuff to people or change people's diapers from the cradle to the grave.

Why did none of them speak up? Despite some good intentions by a few, they recognize that the government has crossed over its border, and the president stands to gain quite a bit of unConstitutional power if one of them were to gain that office. Entitlements (even to the President) will contribute mightily to the death of this country, and each of these candidates missed an opportunity to slap the country with some Constitutional sense.

  • Missed Opportunity #2 - When the conversation turned to abortion, the moderators phrased the question, "Governor Kasich, Senator Cruz is so committed to stripping federal funds from Planned Parenthood that it could result in shutting down the federal government in just about two weeks. Do you agree with Senator Cruz's tactic?"
EACH and every candidate who spoke on this issue missed the opportunity to say, "Mr. moderator, you misunderstand the situation. It's the job of the Senate to propose a budget. If Congress deems it unnecessary to fund murderers and felons (selling fetal tissue for profit is a felony), and the President decides that he would rather shut down the government than sign a budget that doesn't fund his supporters, then the President is shutting down the government."

If the President would rather stand on the mountain of dead babies than fund the government, then it's on his bloody hands.

Speaking of government shutdowns, let's have some more of that. This bloated entity wastes my money and the money of millions of tax-payers on personal pork projects and murdering babies. If it shut down for a while, perhaps some of the unConstitutional departments (IRS, Education, Homeland Security...) would lay off a few thousand workers or close altogether. Wake up Candidates!!!

Losing Sleep

I imagine there are some very worried execs and doctors at Planned Parenthood, who are losing sleep this week. They are probably wondering if their dirty secrets are about to be revealed in the upcoming releases of more videos from the Center for Medical Progress.

If you were upset by the two previous videos that showed doctors from Planned Parenthood bartering for extra cash as they try to sell body parts from murdered babies, then plan to be upset about a dozen more times.

How many more videos? someone asked.
“About a dozen.”
It makes me so sad that my culture has tolerated and accepted the barbaric practice of infanticide for over 40 years. It's a terrible shame that is has taken the release of ghastly videos to stir some measure of change. I'm sad for my country, and though I know that defunding Planning Parenthood or outlawing abortion won't save the country, I sure do want the the infanticide to end.

Grace is bigger than any sin.

The Harvest is Plentiful

The big news story of the day yesterday was something about some celebrity storming out of some fancy restaurant for some perceived slight...or something. I didn't read that big news story.

Instead, I read a story about a government funded business, Planned Parenthood, that receives half a billion dollars year from tax payers. They are well-known for providing services for people who want to murder their children, and Planned Parenthood is so successful as a business that they kill more than a quarter of a million children EVERY YEAR. This is in addition the women they kill from time to time during their legal abortions.

In this headline, that was sadly ignored by most of the mainstream media, the reporter describes the way that Planned Parenthood revealed their dirty secret. In a well-planned sting, a group of concerned citizens posed as buyers for human body parts. The Senior Director of Medical Services at Planned Parenthood admitted to charging women/government for performing their abortion services and then selling the harvested human body parts for money. It's quite lucrative for them.

The footage shockingly depicts the top medical official at the Planned Parenthood corporation munching on her salad while she discusses the sale of body parts of unborn children victimized by abortions. She brazenly describes how the heads of unborn babies killed in abortions command top dollar.
No one can describe the horror of this crime quite like Matt Walsh, so I'll link to his blog for your edification. And when I say edification, I mean the way that I expect you to contact your elected representatives to insist on the defunding of Planned Parenthood.

For convenience, you are welcome to copy/paste the following message that I have sent to my elected representatives:

In light of the recent and persistent allegations of misconduct involving Planned Parenthood, I am asking that you bring to the floor of the Senate a bill that immediately terminates all governmental funding of this organization.

Not only that, as an American, I am expecting you to open an investigation of Planned Parenthood to determine if they have indeed broken the law with their business practices.

The revelation of their harvesting of human fetal tissue for profit is beyond the pale and must be punished if true.

Thank you!

Also, for your convenience, I am linking a few governmental offices from which you can find your respective government official:

Tolerance for everyone...except Pro-Lifers

Treat everyone fair. Give everyone everything they want. Just not those who feel that unborn children deserve to live.

Democrat Senator Tammy Baldwin says that the First Amendment of the Constitution does not apply to individuals.
Certainly the first amendment says that in institutions of faith that there is absolute power to, you know, to observe deeply held religious beliefs. But I don’t think it extends far beyond that.

Global warming predictions have been fair to partly cloudy for years, but this is the month when seven years ago, it was predicted that NYC would be under water because of the effects of manmade global warming.

UNIDENTIFIED VOICE #2: Temperatures have hit dangerous levels.
UNIDENTIFIED TEENAGER: It's June 8th, 2015. One carton of milk is $12.99.
SECOND UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Gas reached over $9 a gallon.
As one expert warns that in 2015 the sea level will rise quickly, a visual shows New York City being engulfed by water.
Not so much.

Trustworthy or Mythological

Can we really trust the Bible with all of those interventions of God into the natural world? A miracle cannot be scientifically tested, so how can we trust the Bible, when it tells us that God intervened?

For one, unless you start from a revelation of God, you cannot know anything for certain. Secondly, there were eye-witness accounts of miracles. And thirdly, in some cases, we can see the results of miracles.

Genesis 6-9 tells that there was a historical worldwide flood, and the evidence for this miraculous intervention is overwhelming. But there are some who would say that this flood was just a localized flood...a flood that seemed worldwide to Noah, but was just really a flooding of the Mesopotamian valley.

But if we look at what the Bible says in Genesis 7:20, the waters covered the mountains to a depth of 15 cubits (possibly 20 feet), and Genesis 8:4 says that the ark came to rest in the mountains of Ararat.

Mt Ararat is almost 17,000 feet above sea level. If the sea level rose 17,000 feet, would the Mesopotamian be able to contain the flooding?

So, we should be able to see evidences of flooding all over the world. Here, here, and here are testaments to the reliability of Biblical thinking. We can trust God when he has revealed history to us, and we can trust him for our future.

Tax Deductible Abortion?

According to the IRS, if you have murder your child before she has been born, you are eligible to deduct the expenses incurred on your taxes.

While Americans can deduct the expenses of aborting their baby from their taxes, the medical expenses related to a stillborn baby are not able to be deducted.
It truly is a sad time on our culture when it has become acceptable to murder your children and be rewarded for it.

We have all sinned, but thankfully there is hope. God can redeem anything. The sins that I have committed have been 4GiVn and the murder of one's children can be 4GiVn, because God is bigger than our sin.

The Title For This Post is Censored

...not exactly, but it might be censored in the near future.

Once thought to be GREAT news since it guaranteed equal access and speed to the internet for all people everywhere, the government of the United States now controls access to the internet through the unelected agency, the FCC.

On the outside, this might be seen as wonderful news. No longer will Internet Service Providers (ISP) be able to restrict the speed of access to certain websites because the government now will keep those pesky ISPs from bullying anyone. It's very clear from the video below.

As you can see, the mighty Godzilla (ISPs) is destroyed by the even more powerful and destructive King Ghidora (FCC). Now, I'm all for the equal access of websites to the information superhighway, and it would be great news if the new regulator weren't an unconstitutional branch the federal government.

Walk with me through this possible scenario. Some future president is frustrated with certain elements/websites/newssites as he prepares his re-election bid. To help increase his chances of re-election, he directs the FCC to make sure that these certain newssites or information that might tarnish his reputation are not accessible to the public. I know this seems ludicrous as the government is "always trustworthy."

Ron Paul had this to say:
The truth is very different. The adoption of these FCC rules on the Internet represents the largest regulatory power grab in recent history. The FCC’s newly adopted rule takes the most dynamic means of communication and imposes the regulatory structure designed for public utilities. Federal regulation could also open the door to de facto censorship of ideas perceived as threatening to the political class – ideas like the troops should be brought home, the PATRIOT Act should be repealed, military spending and corporate welfare should be cut, and the Federal Reserve should be audited and ended.

I'm sure the government won't ever censor this blog, but not everyone will be so lucky.

UPDATE: Matt Walsh also had a few things to say about net neutrality.

That’s the funny thing about tyranny, folks, it never works out for anyone but the ones in charge. And you ain’t in charge. You’re just a rube. A useful pawn. A servant.
Why is this so difficult to understand? When forced to choose between big corporations and big government, you should never choose big government because whatever you don’t like about the big corporations WILL ALSO BE PRESENT IN BIG GOVERNMENT, ONLY WORSE, AND WITH GUNS.
I never resort to all caps, but I don’t know how else to communicate this. I’ve tried every other way. Should I write it in a poem? Say it in Pig Latin? Mail it to you in a candy gram? Communicate it via interpretive dance?
What can I do? What can I do to somehow force millions of oblivious people to understand that the government is not a magnanimous white knight that rides into town to rescue you from the scary dragon. The government is the freaking dragon.

That didn't take long

Remember my post from a couple of months back that even though the Republicans had won historic majorities in the house and senate that we can expect to be disappointed?

Well, it did not take long for them to disappoint:

Moderate House Speaker Boehner was re-elected to his post when much more suitable candidates (Gohmert, Stutzman...) presented themselves as alternatives.

It looks like the executive overreach that Obama conjured up to allow illegal immigrants to stay in the Unites States will not even be challenged by the new senate.

Now, the new "savior" government officials have fumbled an opportunity to end abortions in the United States for all babies older than 20 weeks. It looks like this is yet another Congress of big promises and small results.

It's a true shame on the anniversary of the dreadful Roe vs. Wade decision 42 years later and after 57,762,169 infant murders that the new Republican Congress fails to end this atrocity.

I expect the list of disappointments to grow.

UPDATE: Add another failure to the Republican promises. Stopping illegal immigration has been sacrificed on the altar of increased government power convenience.

2016 Presidential Race

I've backed off quite a bit from my overbearing political voice over the past few years, but it still interests me.

I ran across this graphic from The DailySignal, and I thought I'd pass it along in case you're interested.

I still think America missed a chance to elect one of the great leaders and statesmen since some of the founding fathers in Ron Paul. His son Rand is running and according to the chart is the most conservative presidential candidate. Right now, Ted Cruz is my choice. He seems to have a strong backbone and doesn't mind dropping a wrench in the government gears to get his point across. I'd rather the government gears get wrecked more often so they have fewer chances to spend my money irresponsibly.
