Changing the Definition

It bothers me when people change the definition of words to try to legitimize their actions or reasoning. Sometimes, those same people like to employ euphemisms to further obfuscate their immorality.

Case in point - Planned Parenthood.

When women have asked for prenatal care at Planned Parenthood, they have been given the response:

“We don’t do prenatal services. I mean, it’s called Planned Parenthood. I know it’s kind of deceiving,” and “We don’t offer prenatal care at Planned Parenthood… we specialize in abortions.”
And what is an abortion? It's a euphemism for killing and dismembering a human being. And the "health care" that Planned Parenthood provides? According to the article about, PP provides less than 2% of the nation's breast exams, but ZERO mammograms. Their "health care" is deadly since at least half of their patients are intentionally murdered. Changing the definition again.

But the Redeemer is good. He can 4give anything. After all he's 4GiVn me.

Can Darwinism explain both altruism and selfishness with the same evolutionary processes? Dr. Tim Clutton-Brock tries to accomplish the feat without realizing the contradiction.

"from cooperation among meerkats to fratricide among hyena cubs. But can the same evolutionary process explain opposite outcomes?"

"So the author is in a clear conundrum; he either has to justify violent racism, or acknowledge that humans are not mere mammals produced by blind processes of evolution. This contradiction is lost on him"

Thankfully, God's revelation is trustworthy and confirmed by the evidence around us. Since we can trust God about the past, we can trust him with our future.

Where's the Standard?

In the news recently a swimmer at Stanford was accused of sexual assault. The trial confirmed his guilt, and he faces 6 months in prison and three years probation.

But there has been an outcry that his punishment was not severe enough. So, a group of witches has organized a "mass hexing" upon the Stanford swimmer.

Their group curse again him includes impotence, painful gut, and shame.

But I have to ask: From what standard do the witches pass judgement? What is their standard of right and wrong? From where does that standard arise?

The only universal, immaterial, objective standard by which to be able to judge another would have to come from a universal, immaterial, and objective source. The Creator God has revealed himself through his written word and through his incarnation in Jesus. God's standards of immorality have been broken by all of us, and 4giveness is available only through repentance of sins and faith in Jesus' payment through death and resurrection.

There Goes The Neighborhood

And when I say neighborhood, I mean the nation.

So Glamour magazine honored Butcher-in-chief, Cecile Richards for her outstanding efforts at defending her murder factory and Baby-parts-sales-shop.

For the nation/culture to glorify the evil deeds of this chop-shop speaks volumes about the free-fall of the people's morality.

"Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them." - Romans 1:32

But all hope is not lost. For although we have all sinned (Rom 3:23), there is forgiveness in repentance through Jesus. (Rom 3:24)

In a World Filled With Bad News

Here's some good news:

Texas Governor Greg Abbott made decision to eliminate state taxpayer funding for the abortion business.

In a statement sent to, he added: “The gruesome harvesting of baby body parts by Planned Parenthood will not be allowed in Texas and the barbaric practice must be brought to an end. As such, ending the Medicaid participation of Planned Parenthood affiliates in the State of Texas is another step in providing greater access to safe healthcare for women while protecting our most vulnerable – the unborn.”

While the abortion debate is thrown about like a political football, the reality of legal infanticide and human tissue harvesting is evil. I'm thankful that Texas has taken a stand against PP.

The loving Creator is bigger than all of our sin, and his Grace can forgive and redeem the worst of sins.

I John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Missed Opportunities

You can imagine my surprise last night, when my lovely wife said, "Do we get the channel that will broadcast the Republican debate?" Her interest in politics has been lukewarm at best, but she heard a segment from Glenn Beck that sparked some interest, so I set it up for us to watch.

It was disappointing, to say the least. The participants fell into the moderator's trap of yielding to infighting rather than substantive discussion. One good thing is that it exposed The Donald for the childish entertainer that he is.

But I have a huge complaint with two enormous missed opportunities to readjust the perspectives of the American people, who are largely confused about the role of their parents government.

  • Missed opportunity #1 - When the discussion about illegal immigration was being discussed, Donald Trump said, "A woman gets pregnant. She's nine months, she walks across the border, she has the baby in the United States, and we take care of the baby for 85 years. I don't think so." Either Ted Cruz or Rand Paul should have cut him off with a sharp rebuke. IT's NOT THE GOVERNMENT'S JOB TO CARE FOR ANYONE!!!!! On this Constitution Day, someone please read the Constitution. Here are the Federal Government's declared boundaries:
    • Congress
      • Create laws.
      • Impeach criminals from office.
      • Declare war.
      • Borrow money.
      • Propose a budget (common defense, post office, provide roads)
      • Coin money
      • Negotiate with foreign powers
    • Executive
      • Make sure laws are carried out
      • Command the military
      • Fill vacancies in the judiciary (recess congress openings)
    • Judicial
      • Interpret laws in accordance with the Constitution
Nowhere in the Constitution does it talk about giving free stuff to people or change people's diapers from the cradle to the grave.

Why did none of them speak up? Despite some good intentions by a few, they recognize that the government has crossed over its border, and the president stands to gain quite a bit of unConstitutional power if one of them were to gain that office. Entitlements (even to the President) will contribute mightily to the death of this country, and each of these candidates missed an opportunity to slap the country with some Constitutional sense.

  • Missed Opportunity #2 - When the conversation turned to abortion, the moderators phrased the question, "Governor Kasich, Senator Cruz is so committed to stripping federal funds from Planned Parenthood that it could result in shutting down the federal government in just about two weeks. Do you agree with Senator Cruz's tactic?"
EACH and every candidate who spoke on this issue missed the opportunity to say, "Mr. moderator, you misunderstand the situation. It's the job of the Senate to propose a budget. If Congress deems it unnecessary to fund murderers and felons (selling fetal tissue for profit is a felony), and the President decides that he would rather shut down the government than sign a budget that doesn't fund his supporters, then the President is shutting down the government."

If the President would rather stand on the mountain of dead babies than fund the government, then it's on his bloody hands.

Speaking of government shutdowns, let's have some more of that. This bloated entity wastes my money and the money of millions of tax-payers on personal pork projects and murdering babies. If it shut down for a while, perhaps some of the unConstitutional departments (IRS, Education, Homeland Security...) would lay off a few thousand workers or close altogether. Wake up Candidates!!!

Losing Sleep

I imagine there are some very worried execs and doctors at Planned Parenthood, who are losing sleep this week. They are probably wondering if their dirty secrets are about to be revealed in the upcoming releases of more videos from the Center for Medical Progress.

If you were upset by the two previous videos that showed doctors from Planned Parenthood bartering for extra cash as they try to sell body parts from murdered babies, then plan to be upset about a dozen more times.

How many more videos? someone asked.
“About a dozen.”
It makes me so sad that my culture has tolerated and accepted the barbaric practice of infanticide for over 40 years. It's a terrible shame that is has taken the release of ghastly videos to stir some measure of change. I'm sad for my country, and though I know that defunding Planning Parenthood or outlawing abortion won't save the country, I sure do want the the infanticide to end.

Grace is bigger than any sin.
